Bright room for rent in a spacious, light‑filled duplex apartment (170 square meters) in central Gothenburg. Located in a highly sought‑after, safe and privileged area near Delsjön and Korsvägen, perfectly combining nature, city life and convenience.
Walking distance to the city centre, excellent tram connections (approx. 15 minutes to Chalmers) and great bike paths. I’m originally from Mexico, so Spanish is spoken at home, and my three children (14, 14 and 10) are social, sporty, fluent in English and enjoy welcoming international guests. Ideal for a responsible student seeking a friendly and secure home.
The neighborhood, Örgryte, is known for being quiet, green, and residential, which is ideal for studying. Despite the calm atmosphere, the excellent transport links mean you’re always just minutes away from student life, libraries, cafés, and nightlife. We have a very nice café 300 meters from home with the best home-made pastries ever, a few supermarkets, gym, tennis club, horse riding club, canoeing and kayak club by the lake, swimming pool 2 tram stops away... and more.
My three children (ages 14, 14, and 10) live with me every other week (odd numbered weeks). Their dad lives around the corner and we're best friends. They are active, social, and fluent in English. They love sports, enjoy meeting new people, and are genuinely curious about other cultures.
Your room is located upstairs while the children’s rooms are downstairs, which naturally creates a quiet, private environment for you to study, rest, or simply have your own space. There are 2 full bathrooms, one with shower the other with bath tube, plus another toilet. We have 2 spacious living rooms and a large studio. During the weeks when the children are with their other parent, the apartment becomes even more peaceful — and since I travel for work roughly every second month, you may occasionally have the whole place almost entirely to yourself.
We don’t have a TV at home, so most people bring their own entertainment. The girls love baking, so there’s often the smell of something fresh in the oven and they’re always excited to learn new recipes.
