Terms and Conditions for Online Payments

Agreement Formation

When you purchase a subscription to BostadsPortal on www.bostadsportal.se or in our apps for iPhone and Android, you enter into an agreement with BoligPortal A/S, CVR 26722535, Paludan Müllers vej 40B, 8200 Aarhus N.

You must be over 18 years old to create a subscription.

By entering into the subscription agreement, you simultaneously accept that BostadsPortal will continuously withdraw an amount corresponding to the price of the selected subscription from the payment method you have linked to the subscription. You can use payment cards (VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, and Mastercard Debit), ApplePay and GooglePay when creating the subscription agreement on www.bostadsportal.se. In our apps for iPhone and Android, payment is made directly to the respective app store (iTunes or Google Play Store).

When you purchase a subscription from BostadsPortal, we will send you a receipt by email as proof of the agreement. As a home seeker, you can find your purchase receipts under "Subscription" on your user profile. Landlords' purchase receipts for highlighted advertising and rental data can be found under "Purchase and Subscription" or for highlighting under the details of the specific rental.

For all subscription agreements, the price and period, also for subsequent payments, are stated on the page where you choose your subscription and in the receipt for the subscription agreement that we send you immediately after the payment of the first period.

Common to all subscriptions on BostadsPortal is that the subscription agreement takes effect upon the creation of the agreement along with the first payment. Your subscription will automatically continue until you choose to terminate it (see the section "Termination"). All subscription renewals are made based on the time of subscription creation, and the upcoming renewal date is always displayed on your user profile under "Subscription".

Introductory Offer with Limited Access (seekers)

When you purchase a subscription directly from BostadsPortal, you may qualify to start the subscription with a special introductory offer. This offer applies to new customers who have not previously used the same offer. Circumvention of this limitation may result in a requirement for full payment and/or closure of the subscription.

If you cancel the subscription during the introductory period, your access to the inbox will be closed at the end of the period, and you will lose the ability to access your history afterward. You can resume the subscription at the same place you cancel it if you regret this action.

If the subscription is not canceled during the introductory period, it will automatically continue with full access at the full price.

Promoted Advertising of rentables (landlords)

When purchasing promoted advertising in connection with the creation/re-advertising of a rentable, where activation of the ad is pending validation and approval from our Customer Service, the subscription and payment agreement begins the moment the ad is activated.

Right of Withdrawal

When purchasing a subscription on Bostadsportal, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, which is counted from the moment the subscription agreement was entered into. By creating the subscription and accepting these terms, you simultaneously agree that the right of withdrawal ceases once you start using your subscription.

In practice, this means that the right of withdrawal ceases upon the first login, when filling in your search profile, contacting a landlord, or actively advertising your available rental property, as specific functions linked to the subscription are thereby activated.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must – before using the subscription and before the 14-day period expires – contact us via email at info@bostadsportal.se with the following information:

  • Your full name and current address
  • The email address associated with your subscription
  • Any order number displayed on your receipt

If you are entitled to the right of withdrawal, Bolig Portal A/S will refund all payments for the relevant order without unnecessary delay and no later than 14 days from the date we received your withdrawal notice.

Please note that for subscription-based purchases, the right of withdrawal only applies for 14 days from the original purchase date and only if the above conditions have been met (i.e., the subscription has not been used). The right of withdrawal is not renewed when the subscription is later renewed, as it is the same service with ongoing subscription payments.

Termination

You can terminate your subscription at any time within the current subscription period without having to pay for further periods. You will still have full benefit of the content in your subscription until the subscription period expires. If you have a pending payment for the latest renewal when you complete the termination, you are still liable for this payment. A refusal of a payment or insufficient funds on the payment card is therefore not a valid termination of the subscription.

All subscription periods are paid in advance. There is no partial refund of the remaining subscription period in connection with termination, nor can a remaining period be saved or transferred to other profiles or advertised rentals.

You can terminate (and resume) your subscription in the same place where you find receipts and the time of the upcoming renewal under "Subscription" on your user profile or by contacting our Customer Service at info@bostadsportal.se. For written inquiries, the time of receipt of your email counts as the cancellation time. After termination, the timestamp under "Subscription" will instead show when the paid access expires.

Seekers’ subscription created in our app for iPhone and Android

If you have signed up for our subscription via iTunes or Google Play Store, termination must take place through the same medium. The employees of BostadsPortal do not have access to the details of the subscription itself and therefore cannot assist with the cancellation.

Landlords’ subscription for promoted advertising

You can terminate the subscription on the specific rentable either by canceling the purchased promotion on the detail page for the rental ad or by marking the ad as rented/reserved if the rentable is rented out.

When directly canceling the subscription on an active rental ad, the promotion will automatically be removed from the ad at the end of the latest payment period. This is indicated in the details of the specific rentable.

When you mark a rentable as rented or reserved while there is an active subscription for promotion, the subscription will still appear as active on your profile but will automatically cease at the specified renewal date. If the ad is reactivated before the current period expires, the subscription will also be reactivated.
